Principal: Dr. Justin Bartholomew

Previous administrative experience: principal, Moncure School

Interesting Facts: Dr. Bartholomew interned in the evidence unit at the state police crime lab in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts while he was pursuing a Master’s degree.

Dr. Bartholomew enjoys running; other sports, especially baseball; and reading.

Reading: He likes to read historical non-fiction like biographies.



Assistant Principal: Lisa Jordan

Previous administrative experience: central office administrator in Human Resources

Teaching experience (subject areas): taught fifth grade for twelve years

Education: Master of School Administration from UNCG, 2008
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Appalachian State, 1991

Interesting Facts:
As a teacher, Mrs. Jordan took students on many field trips to Washington, D.C. She and some of her students even got to ride an underground train from the Capitol building to the House of Representatives and from the Capitol building to the Senate along with several legislators.

Mrs. Jordan is interested in interior design and likes to watch HGTV when time permits.

Reading: She likes to read suspense novels like those authored by James Patterson.
